We are inviting the Faire community to participate in the making of "Renaissance Girl."

There has never been a feature length film set at Faire, so now is your chance to be part of history. The film is a love letter to Faire -- with all the romance, magic and silliness that implies.

So we need you - the playtrons, the performers, the cast members, the vendors. We need your energy and spirit to make "Renaissance Girl" the best movie it can be.

In late February, we will post casting information on this site -- where and when (in May) we're filming and how you can be a part of it. We're going to need:

• military
• nobles
• middle class
• merchants
• peasants
• musicians
• performing acts of all kinds from jugglers to mud shows to puppeteers and everything in between
• street characters
• animals
• vendors - you can have your booth and wares displayed in our film

And for three days of our filming schedule, we're going to need several hundred people - Rennies and Patrons - to shoot the big scene of the opening day of Faire. No other community in the world could pull this off, but Rennies can. And will.
